THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 2006-083
being a by-law to declare a portion of an unopen road allowance situated between
Lot 26 and Lot 27, Concession 5, former Township of Clarke, now in the
Municipality of Clarington and further identified as Part 1 on Reference Plan
40R-24130 to be surplus and to stop up and close as a public highway a portion of
an unopen road allowance situated between Lot 26 and Lot 27, Concession 5,
former Township of Clarke, now in the Municipality of Clarington and further
identified as Part 1 on Reference Plan 40R-24130
Whereas the Council of the Municipality of Clarington at its meeting of April 18, 2006
approved the recommendations in Report EGD-024-06;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Cia ring ton
hereby enacts as follows:
1. That a portion of an unopen road allowance situated between Lot 26 and Lot 27,
Concession 5, former Township of Clarke, now in the Municipality of Clarington
and further identified as Part 1 on Reference Plan 40R-24130 is hereby declared
surplus and stopped up and closed as a public highway.
By-law read a first and second time this 18th day of April 2006
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 18th day of April 2006

TO: Paul Stephen Eyers and Kimberly Ann Eyers
RE: The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington (the "Municipality") transfer to
Paul Stephen Eyers and Kimberly Ann Eyers of a portion of a road allowance (former
Scugog Street) situated in Lot 14, Concession 2, being part of a travelled road known
locally as West Scugog Lane (formerly Old Scugog Road), and Part of Block 29, Plan
40M-2265, in the Municipality ofClarington, and designated as Parts 2 and 4 on Plan
40R-24134
I, C. Anne Greentree, Deputy Clerk of the Municipality, verify that to the best of my
knowledge and belief:
(a) A procedural by-law (the "Procedural By-law") as required by section 193(2) of the
Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25, as amended, was in force in the Municipality
at the time a by-law was enacted by the Council of the Municipality declaring the
Property surplus and authorizing the sale of the Property; and
(b) The measures required for giving notice to the public required by the Procedural By-
law have been carried out.
