Council ~~oom, February 17th, 1953
meeting of Council was held on above date, the I\:ayor presiding and stated
he had called the meeting for the purpose of discussing the assessment to be
used for levying High School Taxes for 1953.

Koved by Cr Osborne seconded by Cr Hetherin€ton that the guarantee bond of the Clerk
Treasurer, A.J.Lyle fer $ 10,000.00 be accepted by Council as being sufficient coverage
and that the guarantee bond of C.S. Oks, AssistHnt Clerk end Assibt:int Tax Collector
for $ 5,000.00 be cccepted as being sufficient coveru e. " Carried It

presiding and stated tnat he had called the meeting for the purpose of considering
estimates and other business.

Utilities Commission that a sewer rer.tal charge be made as the best method of

The standing committees presented their reports of estimated expenditures for 1953
as followsj- Police;$ 1.3,120.00, Public Property ~ 18,000.00, Roads and Streets
$ 52,OOC.00, Cemetery $ 4.570.00 , Civic' 6,700.00 Relief $ 6,000.00, Fire $ l2,BOO.00
