Special meeting of Council was held on above date, D2mbers Bll present excepting era
Scott, Preston a nd Lathangue, the M"O'or presiding and stated that ha hed called the
meeting for the purpos e of passing By-Laws.
BY-LAWS
Rv Little asked permission to introduce the" fOllOYing By-Laws;
To amend By-Law No 1605.
To provide for licsnsing, regulating and governing trailer camps.
To prohibit tlB breaking up of any roadway within the limits of the Corporation witbout
the written consent of the Municipal Clerk and upon payment of a fee of $ 25.00
Greented end read the first time. On motion rule 33 was suspended and Council went
into committee of the whole on second reading, the Mayor in the Chair. On committee
rising the Mayor reported the second reading with all blanks filled in. By-Laws were
than raad a second and third time, passed and ordered to be signed and sealed.
Moved by Rv Little seoonded by Cr Brough that Mr Gerald Keen, of Hambly's Bsverages
be advised that no:&ction was .aken in regard to installing a Cooa-Cola vending machine
in the Town Hall. .. Carried ..
Moved by Cr Higgon secondsd by Cr Rehder that the disposition of the properry on the
Flett subdivision, deeded back to the Town be referred to the finance committee with
power to act. " Carried n
Moved by Dp Rv Carruthers seconded by Cr Higgan that Council endorse the agenda of the
Regional Planning Board and that Mr W.G.Manning be ad vised. .. Carried ..
Moved by Rv Little seconded by Cr Broug, that the Clerk be instructed to write ths
Town sOlicitor requesting him to notify Rev W.A. Schaafsman of the Christian Reform
Church that unless the agreell2nt is signed by June 1st next., t~ Town will remove the
culverts from t 1-e Gburch lot and the watercourse across the property will be left in
the original st at.~ " Cer ried "
