Council Room, ~ay 24th, 1957
Speciel meeting of Council was held on a bove date, members all present exeepting Dp Rv
Carruthers and Cr Preston, the !:ayor presiding and stated that he had called the
meeting to pass a By-Law.

Rv Little asked peT!l1ission to introduce a by-law to provide for supplementary
expenditures on roads and streets for 1957.
Granted and read the first time. On motion rule JJ was suspendee.ded and Council went
into committee of the whole on second reading, the Mayor in the chair. On committee
rising the lIayor reported the secqnd reading with all blanks filled in. By-Law was
then read a third time, passed and ordered to be signed and sealed.
