Campbell Resolution #C-316-84 Minutes Moved by Councillor Taylor, seconded by Councillor Hubbard THAT the minutes of the regular meeting of Council held on Tuesday, April 24, 1984, be approved as read. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-317-84 Moved by Councillor Hubbard, seconded by Councillor Hobbs THAT the minutes of the special meeting of Council held on Friday, April 27, 1984, be approved as read. "CARRIED" Delegations Mr. Ron Amyotte thanked Council and staff for their understanding and co-operation relative to the rezoning of his property, Part Lots 31 & 32, B.F. Cone., Darlington. He agreed that he should be responsible for fire protection. He asked that the time period during which the required contribution for capital improvements to roads external to the subject development would be waived be extended to correspond to the conditions in the subdivision agreement (3 years from the date of registration of the agreement) . . . Counc i I Mi nutes - 2 - May 14, 1984 Delegations Mr. Bill Manson, WDM Consultants asked Council, when directing staff to prepare the Neighbourhood Plan 3(B) for Courtice, to give due consideration to the proposal he was putting forward for a 13 acre parcel of land, abutting the proposal of Mr. E. Pollard. The proposal Mr. Manson presented, contained 70 - 2 storey townhouses, 96 unit apartment building (8 storeys high), and a small commercial development at the corner of Nash and Trull's Road. Perrett, Secretary, Bowmanvi lle and Di strict Horti cultural Society, dated April 24, 1984, requesting permission to hold a plant sale in the parking lot east of the Fire Station on Church Street, Bowmanville on May 16th 1984, be received; AND THAT the Society's request for permission to hold its annual plant sale in the parking lot east of the Fire Hall, Church Street, Bowmanville on May 16, 1984, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., be approved; AND FURTHER THAT Mrs. Doreen E. "CARRIED" Mayor Rickard declared a Conflict of Interest in this Item, because the water supply to this property would pass property in which he has an interest and asked Councillor Hobbs to take the Chair.
