"CARRIED"
Mr. Wernik spoke to Council objecting to the rezoning of Part

houses being built on the property. He said that he had
lived on the west side of that property since 1954.
Mr. Coghill, an inspector with the Ontario Humane Society
spoke to the rezoning, permitting an Exotic Cat Sanctuary,
Part Lot 25, Concession 5, Clarke. He said he was in
attendance at the direction of Mr. Hughes, the Executive
Director of the Society. He asked if Council had approached
the Canadian Wild Life Service, as there were some endangered
species on the list of animals permitted by the by-law.
He also asked if the performance guarantee would cover costs
to the Society, if they had to intervene and feed or care for
these animals. He also questioned the size of the cages
being proposed and felt the size should be increased.
