Miller, Secretary, Kawartha Springer Club, dated February 20th 1984, requesting Council's permission to hold field trials in the Town of Newcastle on May 5th and 6th 1984, be received; AND THAT Mrs. Janice M. Miller, Secretary, Kawartha Springer Club 2004 Foxfarm Road, Peterborough, Ontario, K9K IP8, be advised, that Council has no objection to the holding of the event in the Town of Newcastle. Rae Abernathy, Acting Secretary, Bowmanville Branch, Navy League of Canada, dated March 5th 1984, requesting permission to hold a parade on May 6th 1984, restrict parking on Temperance Street, for the duration of the cenotaph service, and restrict parking on King Street in front of Kramp's Furniture, which location will be used as the Reviewing STand, be received; AND THAT the requests by the Bowmanville Branch, Navy League of Canada be approved, and they be advised that a "Road Occupancy Permit" wi 11 be requi red from the Pub 1 i c Works Department; AND FURTHER that staff be requested to provide every assistance to the parade organizers and Mr. J.
