Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council
held on Monday, April 22, 1985, at 7:00 P.M.
in the Council Chambers
The Mayor called the meeting to order
and led in prayer.

THAT the Minutes of the Meeting of April 9, 1985, be
approved as corrected, and the following be added to
Resolution #C-232-85: "or the equivalent amoLlnt of money."

Mr. Ken Hooper addressed Council relative to the
mileage claim of a Town employee while on leave of
absence. He presented copies of a letter addressed
to him from E. M. Fleming, Assistant Deputy Minister
of Municipal Affairs, which gave an explanation of the
situation. He asked for answers to four questions:
1. Why and by whom had the date on the claim been changed;
2. The dates of the 4 occasions when the Chief Administrative
Officer had called the claimant;
3. How had the calls been made;
4. Was the employee paid wages for services when called
in and if not, why not.
