A special meeting of The BOlvmanville Town Council was held
on September 24th, 1959, in the Town Hall, Bowmanville.
CRuncillor L. Preston absent,
All other members present.
Mayor '11. Carruthers in the Chair.
The purpose of the meetinv, W8S to discuss the mo~ion
put to the Councils in the Durham District High School area.
The motion in question -
"That this meeting give permission to the Durham Dist-
triot High School Board to build a 500 to 700 pupil school i
in Darlington and a 150 pupil s..hool in ~1illbrook."
Moved by Councillor A. Sturrock,
Seconded by Councillor O. Presson,
That this Council give approval to the motion as it
stands.
Carried Unanimously.

That this meeting be adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
