A special meeting of the Town Council was held on the
above mentioned date at 9:30 F.M.
Councillor L. Preston absent all others present.
Mayor W. Carruthers in the chair.

Seconded by Councillor A. Sturrock,
That the TO'Nn of BOWTIlanville petition the County Council
to pass a by-law detaching the Town of Bow~nn_nv:llle from
Durham County District High School Board and authorize the
attachment of the Town of Bowmanville to a ne-d district
comprising the l'Iunicipalities of the Town of '3)wmanville
and the Townships of Darlington.
