A special meeting of the Bowmanville Town Council was
held on December 28th, 1959, at 7:30 p.m. in the Town
Hall, Bowmanville.
Councillor K. Nicks, absent; All others present.
This meeting was held to discuss the possibility
of hiring a Board of '.Iorks Superintendant.
Moved by Councillor O. Presson,
Seconded by Councillor K. Lathangue,
That a recommendation be forwarded from the 1959
Council to the 1960 Council that I1r.Thomas K. Stewart
be hired as the Board of \'iorks Superintendant at a salary
of $5500.00 per year, duties to commence January 18, 1960.
Carried.
Moved by Councillor K. Lathangue,
Seconded by Councillor O. Presson,
That the meeting be adjourned at 9:30 p.m. .
Carried.
