CORRESPONDENCE
Ted.Clarke - July 15th.
"I see by the paper that the Town Council are having sone of the
vacant lots cleaned up. There is a lot across the street from us,
owned by the Hosptial, but used by Mr. LarDer for flowers and
dirt piles covered by old boards and old hay. r was wondering if
these piles of dirt could be ooved from in front of the lot.
I know he needs dirt, but he could put it in front of his own
green houses or else down beside the fence.
r am sure if it was he in our place he \lould not tolerate it.
AS it is, they refuse to have a bit of smoke blowing there \.ilY.
They have had the police dO\ffl twice to have small fires put out.
The rest of the people on the street try to make our places look
better, but I can't say the same for this, besides it is a great
thing to look at year after year."

Seconded by Councillor Nicks,
