Mayor Rickard and Members of Council:-
Tbe following is a report of the meeting of the Planning and Development
Committee held on March 16, 1981:
1.
Expansion St. George's Cemetery
It was recommended to Council that they approve the proposed expansion of St.
George's Cemetery, part lot 34, Concession 2, former Township of Clarke,
File C-2-G-l, and notify Mr. Francis of the Cemeteries Branch of the Ministry
of Consumer and Commercial Relations of this approval.
2.
Rezoning Z-A-3-ll-6 - Newcastle Lumber Ltd.
It was recommended to Council that Report P-53-8l and Report P-39-8l be received
for information and the attached by-law rezoning part lot 26, Concession 1,
Village of Newcastle, Newcastle Lumber Limited, Z-A-3-ll-6 be forwarded to
Council for approval and the applicant be so advised. See By-law 81-35.
3.
Rezoning Z-A-3-6-7 - Timoll
It was recommended to Council that application for rezoning Z-A-3-6-7,
affecting part of Lot 33, Concession 10, former Township of Clarke, be denied
. for failure to negotiate a site plan agreement and the applicant be so advised.
4.
Rezoning Z-A-3-7-5 - Stuart Irwin
It was recommended that the report dealing with application for rezoning Z-A-3-7-5
Stuart Irwin, be approved and the necessary by-law be forwarded directly to Council
for consideration at the next regular meeting.
