A Special meeting of Bo\~anville Town Council was held on
Tuesday, January 31st, at 7:30 p.m.
All members present. Mayor Carruthers in the Chair.
BY-LAWS - First 8c second reading.
Moved by Reeve Little,
Seconded by DePuty-Reeve Hobbs,
That the mover be granted leave to introduce a by-law to
appoint the Clerk-Treasurer for the Town of Bownanville, be
now read a first and second time. carried.
Moved by Deputy-Reeve Hobbs,
Seconded by Reeve Little,
That Council now rise and go into Committee of the Whole
for the consideration of a by-law. Mayor in the Chair.
carried.
Moved by Con. Nicks,
Seconded by Con. Stevens,
That the Committee now rise and report favourably to
Council on the By-Law dis cussed in Committee of the lihole,
plus Item 12. Carried.
Council now in Session. Mayor in the Chair.
Third Reading
Moved by Gon. Hughes,
Seconded by Con. Nicks,
That the By-Law as amended, to appoint a Clerk-Treasurer
for the Town of Bowmanville be now read a third time, passed
and numbered By-Law No. 1793. carried.
Moved by Deputy-Reeve Hobbs,
Seconded by Reeve Little,
That this meeting be adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
