That this report be received; and 2. The recommendations of Totten, Sims, Hubicki regarding the heating renovations at the Newcastle Public Library, Bowmanville Branch, be considered by Council; and 3. If the project proceeds, that an ad hoc committee be established to oversee the project; and 4. The committee be composed of the Mayor, two Council appointees, and two Library Board appointees. That Fairview Construction Ltd., of Peterborough, Ontario be awarded the contract for the Haydon Hall Board Washroom Renovation at a quotation of $8,895.00; and That the $8,895.00 be funded as follows: 3. $7,500.00 from Lot Levy Reserve Fund as provided in the 1983 Capital Budget; and $1,395.00 from Cash-in-Lieu of Parkland Reserve Fund; and 4. Unfinished Business I - 23 - Pine Ridge School East Beach Community Association re Improvements . - 12 - September 12, 1983 Resolution'#C~653-83 Moved by Councillor Hubbard, seconded by Councillor Taylor THAT the recommendations in Report PD-129-83 be endorsed; and 1. That staff Report PD-129-83 be received; and 2. That the attached amendment to By-law 83-95 be approved; and 3. That By-law No. 83-95, as amended, be forwarded to the Ontario Municipal Board for approval and that the Ontario Municipal Board be requested to approve same without recirculation or hold a hearing in respect of same at the earliest possible opportunity, bearing in mind that the provision of water services to Boulton Street is a priority of the Council of the Town of Newcastle and the Regional Municipality of Durham and that the subject by-law implements the provisions of the Durham Regional Official Plan with respect to the provision of water services within this area.
