Moved by Councillor Hubbard, seconded by Councillor Taylor
THAT the Agenda for the Special Meeting be approved.

Resolution #C-25-83
Moved by Councillor Taylor, seconded by Councillor Hamre
THAT Council endorse the recommendation of the General Purpose
and Administration Committee, as follows:
Deve 1 opment
Charge
Policy
1. Council adopt the "Development Charge Policy" as set out in
"A Draft Development Charge Policy for the Town of Newcastle,
December 1982"; and
2. Council adopt a new Development Charge By-law to implement the
new Development Charge Policy.
3. The difference in the amounts of the levies between Courtice
and the rest of the municipality be accounted for separately
and this be set out in the by-law.
