"CARRIED" Mr. Tony Brand, President of the Bowrnanville Chamber of Ccmnerce, addressed Cormcil with respect to certain matters relating to the 125th Anniversary Celebrations of the former Town of Bowrnanville. He asked Cormcil to consider the publication of a Proclamation in the newspapers serving the Town of Newcastle, "inviting the business canmunity and residents to participate in the celebrations by distributing and using the comrrernorative coin as a Trade Dollar." He also advised, that a pamphlet detailing the history of the crest of the former Town and the Museum were being distributed with the coins. Mr. Brand advised, that the Chamber would redeem any coins on request rmtil December 1st 1983. Finally, Mr. Brand requested, that if Cormcil approved the publishing of a proclamation that it be published on December 29th 1982.
