"CARRIED AS AMENDED" Resolution #C-95I-82 Moved by Councillor Taylor, seconded by Councillor Hamre THAT the recommendations in the Striking Committee Report be amended, and the name of Phyllis Dewell be struck, and the name of Mrs. Gail Berry be inserted. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-952-82 Moved by Councillor Taylor, seconded by Councillor Hamre THAT the report be amended further by deleting Item 2, and the recommendations be renumbered accordingly. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-953-82 Moved by Councillor Taylor, seconded by Councillor Woodyard THAT leave be granted to introduce By-law 82-174, being a by-law to amend by-law 77-25, as amended, and and the said by-law be now read a first time. Comprehensive Zoning By-law Kawartha Conservation Authority . - 5 - November 22, 1982 Resolution #C-955-82 Moved by Councillor Taylor, seconded by Councillor Woodyard THAT the third and final reading of By-law 82-174 be approved. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-956-82 Moved by Councillor Hamre, seconded by Councillor Woodyard THAT it be recommended to the next Council that they follow up the process undertaken by Councillor Taylor in the last two years, of the preparation of a Handbook for Community Centres. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-957-82 Moved by Councillor Hubbard, seconded by Councillor Hamre THAT Council support Councillor Woodyard continuing to prepare a financial review of the Town for a report to the next Council. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-958-82 Moved by Councillor Hamre, seconded by Councillor Taylor THAT the next Council consider the Comprehensive Zoning By-law as soon as possible. "CARRIED" Councillor Woodyard tabled the Kawartha Conservation Authority allocation of assessment for participating municipalities, and the General Levy Comparison revised to reflect change in the 1983 budget. Mayor Rickard expressed appreciation to the Members of Council for their co-operation during the past 2 years. He congratulated the Councillors who were re-elected, and thanked the outgoing Councillors and wished them well. He thanked Members of Staff for their co-operation and assistance to the 1981-1982 Council and the press for reporting Council business in a fair and unbiased manner. Councillor Woodyard told Council to feel free to call upon him in the future, if he can be of any assistance. . Countil Minutes - 6 - November 22, 1982 . Councillor Taylor also thanked the Mayor and Members of Council. Resolution #C-959-82 Confirming By-law Moved by Councillor Hamre, seconded by Councillor Hubbard THAT leave be granted to introduce By-law 82-175, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Town of Newcastle, at this meeting held on the 22nd day of November 1982, and that the said by-law be now read a first time. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-960-82 Moved by Councillor Hamre, seconded by Councillor Hubbard THAT the second reading of By-l aw 82-175 be approved. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-961-82 Moved by Councillor Hamre, seconded by Councillor Hubbard . THAT the third and final reading of By-law 82-175, be approved.
