Moved by Councillor Cowman, seconded by Councillor Hamre THAT the recommendation in Report WD-79-82 be endorsed and 1. The report be received 2. The position of "Administration and Records Supervisor" be established by the attached by-law 82-132; and 3. ~lrs. V. Haigh be appointed to the position of "Administration and Records Supervisor" at Step 4 of Salary Grade 9, and that the appointment be given effect by passing of the attached by-law 82-133; and 4. The vacancy created (Confidential Secretary) by the appointment of Mrs. Haigh to the new position be filled by advertising the position of "Confidential Secretary" to the Director of Public Works both internally and externally in accordance with the union and non-union policy. Point of privil ege Councillor Woodyard left the Council table at this point as he felt that Council was not adhering to its procedure policy. Resolution #C-762-82 Relocation of Hamp to n Offi ces Moved by Councillor Hamre, seconded by Councillor Taylor THAT Report Admin 82-68, Relocation of Hampton Offices, be received for information and staff be authorized to reconstruct the offices in the Hampton Building in an effort to provide additional office space and that all related material expenses be drawn from the Unclassified Administration Contingency Account and the labour portion of the costs be considered under the Employment Incentive Program and applications for grants be considered to provide washroom facilities for the Hampton Ha 11 Board. By-l aws 82-132 and 82- 133 . - 4 - September 24 1982 Resolution #C-766-82 Moved by Councillor Taylor, seconded by Councillor Hamre THAT the action taken in Committee be approved. "CARRIED" The Chief Administrative Officer asked that Item 4 on the Agenda be withdrawn. Resolution #C-767-82 Moved by Councillor Cowman, seconded by Councillor Hamre THAT a committee of the Mayor and Councillors Hubbard and Taylor meet to prepare a performance evaluation on the Chief Administrative Officer as undertaken with other non-union staff as per Council policy. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-768-82 Moved by Councillor Prout, seconded by Councillor Hubbard THAT the recommendation in Report TR-55-82 be endorsed and 1. The report be received. 2. Tender No. T82-5 for the construction of storm sewers, Queen Street, Bowmanville, be awarded to Wm. Hollingworth & Sons Ltd., Gormley, Ontario (subject to M.T.C. approval) being the lowest responsible bidder in the total bid amount of $40,131.00 and complying with all terms, conditions and specifications; 3. The funds expended in this project be charged to account Number 7301-0261-00006-3.
