THAT Council approve of the request of the Newcastle
Village and District Chamber of Commerce to hold an
"Oktoberfest" parade in the Village of Newcastle,
on September 18, 1982, and the request for the
closing of Mill Street North of King Street to the
North limit of the Town's parking lot, be forwarded
to the Region of Durham for their approval and they
be advised that the Town has no objections to the
closing.
