THAT the minutes of the regular Council Meeting
of March 29, 1982, be adopted as read.

THAT the minutes of the Special Council Meeting
of April 5, 1982, be adopted as read.

Delegations
Mr. Devon Biddle spoke on behalf of Gatehouse Holdings
respecting Report PD-48-82 dealing with the proposed
Plan of Subdivision 18T-81034. He indicated that both
he and his client were in agreement with the
recommendations contained in the Planning Department's
Report.

Mr. P. G. Robarts spoke on behalf of Pythbow
(The Pythagorus Group) Developments Limited, and
asked Council to consider the many benefits that
would occur if the proposed shopping centre were
approved. He stated, that there were now 12,000
wople unemployed in the Region; if approved, the
project would provide temporary work for local sub-
trades and permanent jobs for about 200 people.

confirm their willingness to locate in the proposed
shopping centre. Finally, he indicated that if the
application were approved, the plaza would be built.

AND FURTHER THAT Mr. Don J. Wright, Chairman,
Branch 178, Royal Canadian Legion 1982 Draw Committee,
