SPECIAL MEETING
October 18th, 1971
Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council held on the
above date in the Council Chambers at 10:45 p.m.

Moved by Con. Allin, seconded by Con. Hooper.
Appointment
Of
Police
Constable
THAT Council concur with Resolution #CW-100 of the
Committee of the Whole held on October 18th, 1971, and
that Hr. Donald K. Bromley be appointed Constable
Second Class for a probationary period of three months
and if satisfactory promoted to first class and
furthermore, that the Chief of Police submit a progress
report to Council after Mr. Bromley has completed two months
service..

THAT Council concur with Resolution #CW-96 of the Committee
of the Whole passed on October 18th, 1971, that a
Connnittee of two be appointed to meet with the Town Engineer
and also with 11r. Locke of L 15< L Tools to try to arrive at
a satisfactory solution to the problem and that a report be
submitted to the next Council meeting.

The Mayor appointed Con. Prout 15< Cobban.
