Mr. M. Veltri appeared before Council with the request that
Council request the Ministry of Intergovernmental Affairs to
approve the Small Subdivision of 6 single lots on Simpson
Avenue at Base Line, as the approval is held up at the
moment pending the granting of tenders for the new water
filtration plant.

relative to Item #14 on the Correspondence Agenda which is
a letter from Mrs. Jean Devitt, Secretary of the Association
complaining about the action of the Recreation Connnittee
in reducing the amount of ice time allocated to the
Association.

Mr. K. Shackleton of 106 Wellington Street appeared before
Council to suggest that Council meet with the Council of
Darlington Township to discuss not only the building of
a new arena, but also a swinnning pool.

present membership in the Central Ontario Joint Planning Board
and that a copy be sent to the. Counties Clerk.

conformity with the principles and policies contained in the
proposed new Official Plan which was adopted by Council on the
First Day of November, 1971, by By-Law No. 71-38, but which is
not yet approved by the Minister of Economics and Intergovernmenta
Affairs.

THAT By-Law No. 72-32 passed on the Fourth Day of July,
1972, a By-law to amend Zoning By-Law No. 1587 is in
conformity with the present Official Plan and also with
the proposed new Official Plan which was adopted by
Council on the First Day of November, 1971, by By-Law
No. 71-38, but which is not yet approved by the Minister
of Economics and Intergovernmental Affairs.
