Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council held in the
Bowmanville. Council Chambers on Monday, December 2,
1974, at 7:00 p.m.
Mayor Rickard called the meeting to order and led in
prayer.
All members of Council were present.

Mr. Sidney Greenslade, purchaser of part lot 10, Con. 8,
Road 5, Town of Newcastle requesting permission for Mr.
Greenslade to occupy the residence while an addition was
being built.

Mr. A. Hill, Generating Concept Engineer for Ontario Hydro
made a presentation to Council regarding the site layout,
enviror~ent and the Candu Nuclear Plant proposed for
the Darlington GS Bowmanville Site. He was assisted in his
presentation by Messrs. W. G. Morrison, H. S. Irvine,
Dr. W. R.Effer and Mr. R. G. Fitchett.

word he would be unable to be present due to the condition of
the roads.
