Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council held in the
Council Chambers in the Court Building on June 25,
1973, at 7:30 p.m.

Moved by Deputy Reeve Prout, seconded by Con. Allin.
That the Minister be requested to amend the Act to provide that
Conservation be under the control of the Region and that only
elected people be appointed, and furthermore, that copies of this
resolution be sent to the other municipalities in the Region
asking them for their support and a copy to Mr. Alex Carruthers,
M.P.Po
