Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council held in
the Council Chambers in the Court Building on
February 26th, 1973, at 7:30 p.m.

THAT the minutes of a meeting of Council dated

THAT the letter dated February 9th, 1973, from the Town
of Thorold relative to Report Number One on Hydro in
Ontario be concurred with and that the Prime Minister of
Ontario be so advised.

THAT if the Zoning By-law as it now stands can be complied
with, it be recommended that the Building Inspector issue
a permit in respect to the application from Mr. William Allin
in his letter dated February 16th, 1973, subject to
Condition Number Three as indicated by Mr. Allin being
imposed in a manner satisfactory to the municipal solicitor.

for employees of the Municipality.

Sanitary Sewers in the Jackman Road, Rehder Avenue, etc.
area at an estimated cost of $119,000.
And whereas it has now become necessary to borrow money
to finance this work pending the issuance of debentures
for same;
Therefor be it resolved that the Treasurer be and is hereby
authorised to borrow an amount of money, not to exceed
$119,000.for the aforementioned purposes.

for temporary advances of money to meet the cost of the
work pending the completion of it" and;
Whereas it has now become necessary to borrow money to
finance this work, pending the debentures of same;
Therefor be it resolved that the Treasurer be and is
hereby authorized to borrow an amount of money not to
exceed a total sum of $105,000 for the aforementioned
purposes'.

authorize the construction of sanitary sewers on Coleman
Avenue, etc., in the Town of Bowmanville, provies "that
the Treasurer may (subject to the approval of Council)
arrange for temporary advances of money to meet the
cost of the work pending the completion o~f it" and;
Whereas it has now become necessary to borrow money
to finance this work, pending the debenturing of same;
Therefor be it resolved that the Treasurer be and is
hereby authorized to borrow an amount of money not
to exceed a total sum of $59 600 for the aforementioned
purposes.
