Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council held on
Thursday, October 2nd, 1975 at 9:00 n.m. in the
Hampton Municipal Hall.
Present were: Mayor
Councillor
Garnet B. Rickard
Donald W. Allin - from 11:20 a.m.
Ann Cowman
Kirk Ent,dsle
Ivan M. Hobbs
Kenneth E. Lyall - until 10:15 a.m.
J.M. McIlroy
H. Bruce Tink
Town Clerk
Absent: Councillor
Also present were: G.F. Howden, Town Planner
D. Barber, Municipal Planning Consultants Ltd.
R. Garrard, Murray V. Jones Associates
Mr. 1lo~lden presented his mcmor;mdum of September 26th, .1975 and
October 1st, 1975 regarding the To~m's position with re!lcrd
to a submission to Regional Planning Department.

Moved by Con. Hobbs, seconded by Con. Entwisle.
THAT the Planner be authorised to prepare a submission Qf
items which in his opinion should be discussed at a special
meeting and also including items which in his opinion have
been omitted from Discussion Paper #3 and also that he be
authorised to use consultants if necessary.

Councillor Lyall left the meeting at this point.
Resolution #c-75-1080
Moved by Con. Ent./isle, seconded by Con. Hobbs.
THAT the Planner's report be completed by the end of next week
and in the hands of Council by the following weekend and that
a meeting be held on Tuesday, October 14th, 1975 to which
the Planning Advisory Committee and Re!lional Staff be invited
to attend, subject to the Region extending the dead line for
the submission and furthermore that the Planning Advisory
Committee meeting for that date be cancelled.
