Minutes of a regular meeting of Council held in the
Newcastle Community Hall on Monday, January 20th,
1975 at 1:00 p.m.
Mayor Rickard called the meeting to order and led in
prayer.

that the Durham Mobile Home Retirement Development be
given equal time with the Rice Construction Development
as far as planning studies are concerned.

Mr. Shm< appeared on behalf of Square 100 Developments
regarding the Zoning of his Company I s land in the former
Village of Newcastle.
Ms. Marcus and Mr. Milani appeared before Council relative
to the rezoning of the Company's lands and a proposed
Subdivision West of Bowmanville and requesting that the
Planners be instructed to consider the Company's project
in the Housing Action Study.
