Minutes of a regular meeting of Council held in
Court Room No.2 at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, May 24th,
1978.

Mr. E. Davis appeared before Council regarding the location
of the "Burger Bus" on the loG.A. Parking Lot in Bowmanville.
Mr. E. Davis appeared before Council regarding permission to
hold auctions on Sundays.
Mr. Daking and Mr. Schwarz appeared before Council regarding
the proposed senior citizens project on Mr. Schwarz's property
adjacent to the Goodyear plant.
Ms Pat Mertl, Project Leader of the Community Conservation
Centre, appeared before Council to explain the work of the
Centre.
Mr. N. Lombardo appeared before Council requesting permission
to retain extising house during construction of his new
home.
Mr. Ken Hooper, representing the Rubber Workers Union, appeared
before Council and presented a brief regarding the proposed
Senior Citizens Project on Mr. Schwarz's land.
