January 30th, 1978
Minutes of a regular meeting of Council held in the
Bowmanville Council Chambers at 1:15 p.m. on Monday,
January 30th, 1978.

Mr. John Goodwin, Chairman of Central Lake Ontario Conservation
Authority and Mr. W.M. Campbell, General Manager of Central
Lake Ontario Conservation Authority appeared before Council
regarding the presentation of the Master Plan for the Hampton
Area
Mr. Goodwin outlined the history and objective of the Hampton
Conservation ArEa. Mr. Campbell also explained reports m1d
sug~ested setting up the Plan in the Hampton Municipal Office.
Mr. Goodwin and Mr. CampLell answered nur.1eTOUS questions from
Council and people in the audience from the Hampton area.
Mr. Bill Richardson presented a petition signed by three hundred
and thirty-fom (334) residents from the Hampton area in opposition
to the Hampton Plan.
