Special Council Meeting
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
October 21st, 1976
Minutes of Special Meeting of Council held in the Corr~ittee
Room at Bowmanville Town Hall at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday,
October 21st, 1976.

Also present was Town Clerk J.M. McIlroy and Mr. Jasper Holliday
of Leighton and Kidd.
Councillor Allin was in the Chair.
As per Resolution #C-76-1193 the meeting had been called to disc'"
the direction of the Liaison Committee for the proposed Darlj~
Generating Station.

Appointment
to Liaison
Committee
THAT the Planner, Mr, George Howden, be appointed to the Liaison
Committee.

Impact
Study
THAT Mr. Holliday be asked to identify, more clearly, at tomorrows
meeting of the Liaison Committee those areas where the Study
Report requires response and that he be given authority to request
information and views from the Staff and others regarding major
errors and omissions, the same terms to apply to the Environmp~.
Study.
