Minutes of a Special Council Meeting held in the Committee
Room at Bowmanville Town Hall on Thursday, September 2nd,
1976 at 2:00 p.m.
Present were:

H. Bruce Tink
The Planner l!r. Howden and Town Clerk J.M. McIlroy were also
prcse.nte
The meeting had been called mainly to discuss Council's
position with regard to the Regional Official Plan and prepare
a reply to the Ministry of Housing's letter by September 30th.
Various itemG of concern were voicod by members of Council and
discussed with the Planner, who noted the items and undertook to
report on them at the next meeting to be called for the purpose
at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16th, 1976.

Moved by Con. Entwisle, seconded by Con. Cowman.
THAT the Region be advised that it was Council's understanding
that the criginal application was to cover the lands South of
Concession Street only and that is all Cc.uncil is prepared to
approve of.
