Minutes of a regular meeting of Council held in the
Newcastle Community Hall at 1:00 p.m. on Monday,
June 21st, 1976.
Mayor Rickard called the meeting to order and lead in the
Lord1s Prayer.

He requested that he be advised when the applicat:lon would be
discussed by Councilor Committee.

Mr. M. Succee requested permission to live in a trailer
while building his new house.

THAT Council concur with Mr. Succee's request provided
that he meets requirements as in pr-"lcNe application. of
this kind.

Mrs. R. Brown of Newtonville appeared before Council with
the request to live in her existing home during the construction
period of her new home on Concession 1, Lot 13 in the former
Township of Clarke just west of Newtonville.

THAT Mr. & Mrs. Brown be permitted to live in the old house
while building new house, subject to proper agreement being
drawn up.

Mrs. Reid of the Haydon Community Hall appeared before
Council regarding financing of the new fence (See Item No. 10
of the Committee of the Whole Report June 14th, 1976).
Mrs. Reid indicated that the payment of $ 500.00 by Council
was quite acceptable.

access to the land which he proposes to develop.

THA1' the Region be advised tomorrow for consideration with
the Regional Plan, that if access through the C.N.R. tracks
could be rebuilt at no cost to the Region or the Area
Municipality that this Council would consider the land to
the South and to the West of Foster Creek to be eligible
for development fairly quickly.
