"CARRIED" I ....01 . . . Council Minutes Municipal Incentive Grant Program Ministry of Natural Resources re Deer Hunt - 10 - May 17th, 1976 Resolution #C-76-563 Moved by Con. Allin, seconded by Con. Entwisle. WHEREAS the Province desires to encourage nunicipalities to develop land to produce medium-density housing of a IOOdest size; AND WHEREAS, the Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation has established the Municipal Incentive Grant Program to provide a grant of $1000 for each housing unit meeting the required criteria to Provincially-designated municipalities; NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that the Council of the Town of Newcastle hereby makes application to the Minister of Housing for a Certificate of Eligiblity to enable this munidpnlity to participate in the program; and agrees that funds received through this program shall be used to facilitate the production of housing; FURTHER, an annual report shall be submitted on or before March 1 to the Minister of lbusing on the expenditure of fUnds received under this program in the previous calendar year.
