Also present were representatives of the Durham County &3nior
Citizens lodge, their Solicitor, Architects and Engineers and
C.M.H.C.

Mr. Lovekin the applicants' Solicitor and Mr'. Jacobs of C.M.H.C.
addressed Council and indicated \\hat was required for the Society
to obtain C.M.H.C. financing approval. There follCMed a general
discussion by those present of the whole proposal.

Parts I, 3, 6, 7 and 8 on a Plan and Field Notes of Location CL2l68
deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of
Newcastle (No. 10) as Plan 10R-760, and that the said By-law' be
new ~~ a first time.

Moved by Con. Allin, seconded by Con. Taylor.
THAT C.M.H.C. be advised in writing that Council has received
preliminary plans of the Durham County Senior Citi2"A30S lDdge
Project and approve of same and is prepared to issue the necessary
building pennit, subject to the detailed plans confOnnity with
all Municipal By-laws and also that the project site is properly
zoned for the proposed use and that the site can be serviced by
proper Municipal services.

Nesbitt be forwarded to the Town Solicitor for a legal opinion
