TOWN OF NEWCASTLE August 18th, 1977 Minutes of a regular meeting of Council held in the Bowmanville Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18th, 1977, being a continuation of the meeting held on August 15th, 1977. THAT the Clerk forwith advise the Minister of Housing that the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle requests the Ministry of Housing to modify the proposed Official Plan of the Region'of Durham by designating Part Lots 32, 33, 34 and 35, Concession 1 (former Township of Clarke) now in the Town of Newcastle, Regional Municipality of Durham, and their respective Broken Front Concessions, be modified to allow the above mentioned lands to be used for the pUrpose of a Retirement Mobile Home Park.
