"CARRIED" A representative of the Newcastle Condominium Corporation No. 1 appeared before Council regarding Fire Routes and No Parking Zones. He indicated that the Management of the Condominium had changed and requested that the matter be referred to the next meeting of the Legislation and By-Laws Committee when he could attend. . ~ . Rickard of the former Village of Newcastle Mr. Woudstra re By-Law No. 77 -51 Curfew - 10 - August 15th, 1977 Mr. Fred Brown the Works Superintendent appeared before Council and received his certificate re "C.S. Anderson" Road School and was congradulated by Mayor Rickard. Mr. George T. Pollitt appeared before Council requesting that a Building Permit be issued for Oral MacLean. Mr. Janushewski appeared before Council representing residents of Orono Estates Subdivision and in opposition to the proposed rezoning of a piece of ground for Commercial pUTpose at the West entrance of Orono Estates. Mr. Doug Simpson rep7esenting the merchants and residents of the Orono Area appeared before Council in opposition to the rezoning proposed. Mrs. Elaine Flintoff appeared before Council complaining about * the use of Leskard Road by gravel trucks and requested that this be prohibited. Mr. Brenton Rickard of the former Village of Newcastle appeared before Council for various items including the water bill for his laundry mat business, the removal of angle parking on Beaver Street, a broken culvert and also the settling of a sidewalk because of a sewer installation. TI1AT Mr. Woudstra be heard. "CARRIED" Mr. Woudstra appeared before Council in opposition of the passing of By-Law No. 77-51.
