June 27, 1977
Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council held
in Court Room 112 at 1: 15 p. m. on Monday, June 27,
1977.
Present were:
Mayor G. B. Rickard
Councillor D. W. Allin
Councillor Alfred Gray
Councillor J. W. Holliday
Councillor R. Bruce Taylor
Councillor E. R. Woodyard
Councillor Robert Dykstra
Absent:
Resolution #C-77-985
Moved by Con. Woodyard, seconded by Con. Taylor
THAT the letter dated June 21st, 1977 from Frank Cowan Company
Limited, relative to the Town Insurance coverage, be received
for information and a copy forwarded to the Treasurer.

Resolution #C-77-986
Moved by Con. Taylor, seconded by Con. Gray
THAT Frank Cowan Company Limited be authorized to act as Agents
on behalf of Council in reviewing insurance requirements and
arranging for the provision of insurance coverage from July 1st,
1977, subject to inventory and review as to options available to
Council by the Frank Cowan Company, by August 1, 1977.

THAT the forgoing resolution be telegraphed to Frank Cowan Company
and also telephoned with a reply requested by noon, June 28th, 1977.
