Highway 401 Signs Tyrone Community Centre re Queen's Silver Jubilee 4' Camera - 17 - May 16th, 1977 Mr. Lovekin advised Council regarding a problem of an objection by Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority to the Ontario Municipal Board regarding By-Law No. 77-8. Resolution #C-77-760 Moved by Con. Holliday, seconded by Con. Allin. WHEREAS this Council have passed a Zoning By-law to accommodate the construction of Participation House, Durham, on the site of the old Boys Training School, former Town of Bowmanville; AND WHEREAS this By-law is presently before the Ontario Municipal Board; AND WHEREAS the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority have indicated they do not Oppose the By-law as a whole or the proposed location of the building on the property, but they do object to the portion of the property that is within the flood plain being included in the rezoning; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Staff of this Corporation are hereby instructed to take this situation under consideration and to draft the necessary amending documentation to resolve the problem and to present the same to the next meeting of this Council so the same maybe finalized at that meeting.
