Minutes of a Special Meet:ing of Council held
on November 9 1979 at 11:50 a.m. in the Bell
Build:ing Committee Room
Present were:
Mayor Garnet B. Rickard
Councillor Keith Barr
Councillor William Clarke
Councillor Ivan M. Hobbs
Councillor Jasper W. Holliday
Councillor Maurice Prout
Absent:
Councillor Ann Co\\ffilll
There was a discussion on Central Lake Ontario
Conservation Authority's plan for the Hampton
Conservation Area.
Mayor Rickard left the Chair at 12 noon.

Moved by Councillor Prout, seconded by Councillor Clarke
THAT Councillor Holliday take the Chair.

Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Councillor Barr
THAT Council should take a position and advise C.L.O.C.A.
what Council thinks is necessary to prepare a I1Ddified
plan to take care of the concerns of the Hampton
residents, and to rejuvenate the Hampton Pond and restore
the road, as a conservation area.

THAT Mr. Bill Richardson's letter dated November 3 1979
on the forego:ing subject be received for :information and
that Mr. Richardson be advised of the action taken by Council.

TIlAT C.L.O.C.A. be asked innlediately to refill the
Hampton Pond and retain it for fire protection, subject
to the concurrence of the Director of Public Works.
