Moved by Councillor Hobbs, seconded by Councillor Holliday.
THAT the meeting go into Conunittee of the Whole

THAT Mr. Irwin Hamilton representing the Kinsmen Club be
permitted to sit in at the meeting.

THAT the foregoing Resolution be amended to allow Mr. Hamilton
to make a presentation to the meeting only.

Mr. Hamilton addressed Council on behalf of the Kinsmen
Club. He indicated which buildings in which the Club
was interested.
Resolution #C-743-79
Moved by COWlcillor Hobbs, seconded by COWlcillor Cowman.
THAT COWlcil advise Mr. Henderson, Minister of Government
Services, that COWlcil would like to have the entire
holdings of Pine Ridge School turned over to the Town to
be used for public purposes, and in the meantime, used for parks
and recreation purposes so that they could be phased in
over a number of years and also that a list of organizations
which have indicated an interest in the properties be
compiled.

Moved by COWlcillor Clarke, seconded by Councillor Holliday.
THAT a Sub-Committee of three be appointed with COWlcillor
Holliday as Chairman to draw up terms of reference for
consultant and report back to Council, but being limited
to examining facilities available and Town's needs and
that the Town Manager be a member of the Committee.

Councillor Clarke was appointed as the third member of
the Committee.
