May 15th, 1979
Minutes of a special meeting of Council held
on May 15th, 1979 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bell
Building Committee Room.
Present were: Mayor Garnet B. Rickard
Councillor Keith Barr
Councillor William Clarke
Councillor Ivan M. Hobbs
Councillor Jasper W. Holliday
Councillor Maurice Prout
Town Clerk J.M. McIlroy
Absent:
Councillor Ann Cowman (Due to Illness)
The meeting was called to consider the attached Report of
the Community Services Committee dated May 15th, 1979.
Resolution #C-605-79
Moved by Councillor Prout, seconded by Councillor Barr.
THAT the Community Services Committee Chairman's Report from
a meeting held on May 15th, 1979 be adopted and the following
bids for equipment at the Soper Creek Ball Park be accepted:-
Back Stop Fencing - Frost Fencing......$5,075.
Dugouts - Earl Ross.................... $3,520.
Outdoor Toilets - Ajax Portable........$ 660.
TotaL..... .$9,255.

THAT the meeting be adjourned at 7:05 p.m.

Tbe following recommendation of the Community Services Committee is
presented for Council's endorsation:
Equipment, Soper Creek Park
It was recommended to Council that the following bids for equipment at the
Soper Creek Ball Park be accepted:
Back Stop Fencing - Frost Fencing
Dugouts - Earl Ross
Outdoor Toilets - Ajax Portable
