Regrets: Cecile Bowers; Corinne vandeGrootheveen; Paul Rowan and Councillor Corinna Traill. Minutes from January 10, 2017 Meeting were accepted as revised. Dance Report Given by Dave, not Hall Booking Report. M/S by Danielle Carroll and Dave Taylor. CARRIED. Treasurer’s Report: was included in Summary at Annual General Meeting. Current Balance: $22,906. No addition data to report. Data for Municipal Grant application was discussed. Maintenance Report: by Larry Quinney. Tim Welsh has been in touch with the Road Sign Department to inquire about a new sign by the road to advertise events. Response pending. Lamp Post on south side of building, on North edge of parking lot is heaving out of ground. Joy will notify the Municipality. New tiles have been installed behind kitchen fridge. Table Holders/Trolley: Justin will work with Paul to pursue. Piano is not used M/S by Claude Godin and Walter Loveridge to try to sell the piano. CARRIED. Danielle will post it For Sale. Hall Booking Report: by Danielle Carroll. Several weekends are booked both Saturday and Sunday. Our contract currently allows Saturday renters to have until 10 a.m. Sunday to clear out their belongings. This is hindering rental Opportunities for Sundays. M/S by Danielle Carroll and Marlene Craig to revise The Contract, so that all futures Saturday bookings vacate by 2 a.m. Sunday morning. CARRIED. Back to back bookings make it difficult for hall to be properly cleaned. Volunteers Have been asked to help with the cleaning when there is a short turnabout time. Dance Report: by Dave Taylor. Good turnout for February Dance. There were 4 Handicapped folks at the last dance. Currently there is only One Handicapped parking spot in the parking lot. Joy will follow up with the Municipality.
