REPORT TO COUNCIL MEETING OF DECEMBER 14th, 1981
It is hereby respectfully recommended that:
1. That Council request the Public Works Department
to remove a large branch from the tree on the
corner of Church and Emily Streets in the
Village of Newcastle; and
2. That Council amend the by-law which prohibits
parking on the north side.of Caroline Street
so as to permit parking from Baldwin Street
easterly to the east side of the town -owned lot.
COMMENTS:
The b"ranch of the tree on Church and Emily Streets
in Newcastle Village is causing real concern to the homeowner
who feels the house, is in danger of being damaged should the
branch break in a storm.
Pebple are parking regularly on the area in question
while attending functions at the arena. There is room for parking
leaving the travelled part of the street clear.
