REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE
MEETING OF JUNE 14TH, 1982

SUBJECT: FENCING - KENDAL PARK

RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That the Director of Community Services be authorized
to obtain quotes for fencing at Kendal Park; and
3. That an amount up to a maximum of $5,500.00 be drawn
from the Parks Reserve Fund for this project.

COMMENT:
On May 25th, 1982, Council passed the following resolution:
C-431-82
"That the matter of funding at Kendal Park be referred
to Mayor Rickard and Councillors Hamre and Woodyard".
On Friday, June 11th, 1982, Councillors Hamre and Woodyard
and myself met with the Treasurer and the Director of Community Services.
As a result of this meeting, it was suggested that the Director of
Community Services should obtain quotes with respect to the cost of
fencing Kendal Park and that the funds for this project would be drawn
from the Parks Reserve Account up to a maximum of $5,500.00.
