SUBJECT: ONTARIO BICENTENNIAL MEDAL NOMINEES

RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended to Council;
1. That this report be received; and
2. That the following names be submitted to the Office of the
Premier of Ontario as this Council's nominees for an Ontario
Bicentennial Medal:
Mr. Doug Dewell
Mrs. Kathleen Grundy
Mrs. Joan Higginson
Mr. David Lawson
Mrs. Pat Macdonnell
Mr. Reg Roberts
Mrs. Marion Wiseman

Following our meeting of June 18th, 1984 wherein we discussed
nominations for the Ontario Bicentennial Medal, it was decided that the
above noted persons would be nominated by this Council to receive a medal.
We have now received or prepared a statement with respect
to each individual person's community service and volunteerism and this
statement will accompany our nominations to the Province.
A copy of the statement for each nominee is available for
your perusal in my office.
