REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE
MEETING OF JULY 3rd, 1985

SUBJECT: MAYOR'S REPORT NO. 13-85
GOODYEAR 75th ANNIVERSARY DINNER

RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that Committee recommend to
Council the following:
1. That this report be received for information.
COMMENT:
The Sub -Committee appointed by Council has met with Mr. Charlie
Trim, the Industrial Relations Manager of Goodyear Canada Inc. in Bowmanville.
It has been agreed that Council will host a 75th Anniversary Dinner for
Goodyear on Friday, September 6th, 1985 at the Flying Dutchman Hotel.
A guest list has been prepared by Goodyear and the committee
is now in the process of having invitations prepared by a printer. These
invitations will be mailed out in July.
Details of the 75th Anniversary Dinner will be finalized
shortly and I will submit a further report to Council.
