SUB.ECT: Ontario Small Urban Municipalities Conference
April 30th to May 3rd, 1986
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is hereby recommended to Council the following:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That Councillor Diane Hamre and Mayor John Winters be appoi.nted
as voting delegates to the Annual Ontario Small Urban Municipalities
Conference in Brockville to be held April 30th..to May 3rd, 1986.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
The 33rd Annual Ontario Small Urban Municipalities Conference is
being held in Brockville from April 30th to May 3rd, 1986. The theme of the
conference this year is "Development Strategies for Small Urban Ontario".
The information for the conference was circulated to Members of
Council in early March and Councillor Hamre has indicated that she will be
attending this conference. I will be attending as well.
I would suggest that Council appoint myself and Councillor Hamre
as voting delegates in order that we may vote on conference resolutions.
