Subject: Frank Street Drainage.
In response to Resolution # LB -126-77 regarding
the above subject, this area, relating to concerns of back
lot drainage, was inspected during the Road Inspection Tour
on April 28th, 1977, and later discussed by the Public Works
Committee at the May 12, 1977, Meeting.
After a general discussion by Members of the
Public Works Committee, Resolution # W-136-77 referred the
subject to the Legislation & By -Laws Committee.
The back -lot drainage problem has apparently
existed since prior to 1974 and causes concern annually. I '
have discussed the matter with Mr. Howard Wight, Chief Build-
ing Inspector, and he has obtained a copy of a subdivision
agreement dated November 22, 1963, between the Town of Bow-
manville and Hendry Investments. This agreement pertained to
the area which is now of concern.
I attach hereto copy of an excerpt from the
agreement, namely Item 11, relating to existing and final
grades and contours. From my observations on April 28, 1977,
it would appear that this is a Civil matter and not totally
a Municipal concern.
