REPORT #1 TOWN OF NEWCASTLE Mayor Rickard and Members of Council:- The following recommendations to Council were made at a meeting of the General Purpose and Administration Committee on March 8, 1982: 1. A contract be awarded to Office Copy Products Limited for the supply and delivery of one Minolta EP710 Photocopier, Document Feeder and 20 Bin Automatic Collator at a total cost of $14,500; And that the Town of Newcastle enter into a lease agreement for a term of 65 months at a monthly lease payment of $375.00 plus 7% P.S.T. ($401.84) with Office Copy Products Limited; 4, _ .; ~,<l"'( ~ :"p;') r;;i' ;:- And that the Town of Newcastle enter into a service maintenance contract with Office Copy Products Limited at a cost of 1.49~ per copy, which copy cost would include a complete maintenance program to Town specifications and all consumable supplies, except paper; And that the Town acquire eleven auditron counters and two receptacles for use with the Minolta Photocopier at an upset cost of $910.00. Acquisition of Pitney Bowes Electronic Postage Scale Report CD-15-82 be received; and 2. Staff be authorized to purchase a Pitney Bowes Electronic Postage Scale, Model 5046, at a total cost of $1,995.00 plus P.S.T. ($2,134.65). Weight Restriction By-law 80-41 Report WD-14A-82 be received; and Council adopt the attached by-law allowing for certain exemptions from the Weight Restrictions specified under Municipal By-l aw 80-41 1982 Road Maintenance Program Report WD-14B-82 be received; and Staff be authorized to advertise tenders for the supply of Non- Asphaltic Road Oil and Prime and Surface Treatment materials to the Town in respect of the 1982 Road Maintenance Program, in accordance with Budget approvals.
